Saturday and Sunday June 14th and 15th. DEMA had a pool set up at
Bayfest for discover scuba. The local dive shops furnished all the workers. It was great fun. We had a total of 138 people
who did the discover scuba. The pool was heated to 88 degrees. Will nice and warm. Everyone loved it. Barb says THANK YOU
for all who helped.
The club would like to offer our deepest sympathy to the family of Bill Prince. Bill pasted away
on May 20, 2008 while taking a rebreather class in Lake Wazee. It is believed he died from a heart attack. He was an avid
technical diver liked by us all. The diving community will miss him dearly.
The club sent flowers to the funeral. If you are interested in more information about Capt. Bill
Prince go to www.nordicdiver.com
